When you open an offer we record your email address, your IP address, your browser type and the time. While the offer is on your screen we also record which of the views you used, which products you opened, and roughly how long you spent.
We do not record what you read, and we do not follow you to any other website.
So the Emerio contact who sent you the offer can see that it arrived and was opened, and prepare for the conversation that follows. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in following up on an offer we sent you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It only ever covers offers addressed to you.
One cookie, to keep you signed in after you enter your code. Without it you would have to enter a code on every page. No advertising cookies, no third-party cookies, no external analytics service.
Two years from the day we send you the offer. After that the offer, its photos and everything we recorded about opening it are deleted automatically. Until then you can find the offer back in your overview, which is why we keep it that long.
Only the Emerio employee who sent you the offer. Their colleagues cannot open your offer or see your activity.
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to this measurement. Objecting changes nothing about your access to the offers — use the box below.
